Noticed that there are no reviews so I wanted to be the first to say that if you’re having any doubts about this pen…don’t! My coworker brought his in after receiving it and I was instantly impressed. He has two other copper bolt style pens that are okay, but I never felt I could justify the price until I used this one. If you message John on instagram/email, I can pretty much guarantee you’ll get a response within a couple of hours. If you purchase a pen, I can pretty much guarantee it’ll be delivered way quicker than you expect.
The machining is immaculate and it’s almost impossible to see the seems where the pen can be taken apart.
To be honest, neither me nor my coworker cared for the original ink cartridge, so we’ve both replaced those; but that’s such an easy / cheap fix that there’s no reason to complain about it.

WOW. This is by far my favorite bolt action pen to date (and I’ve tried quite a few at this point)! The profile of this pen is so smooth and slim compared to many other bolt action pens on the market. You can barely even see where the seams are – very impressed! The bolt action is extremely smooth, and I love the stonewashed finish of the copper. This is also one of the few companies I’ve seen that offers such a wide range of customizations in terms of the inner vs outer materials and type of bolt action screw…all for a very fair price, too. Definitely a major fan and can already see myself wanting to buy several more pens in various customizations in the near future 🙂

This pen is awesome! Immediately felt like a quality built pen as soon as I opened it. Action is super smooth, machining is beautiful. It features a sturdy pocket clip that would be super hard to bend. No tip wiggle whatsoever. Great craftsmanship and impeccable fit and finish. The adapter allows this pen to take a variety of refills which is also a plus. Don’t hesitate to get one.

Ordered this Coper EDC Bolt Action Pen–without clip, copper bolt (half sphere), copper internal piece, smooth grip, and all polished. Completely streamlined and beautiful. Excellent quality/workmanship/customer service. Don’t tell them (shh!), but they should be charging more money for these……better get one at this cost while you can, no kidding. Thank you.

The quality and craftsmanship of this pen is awesome. The action is super smooth and you can barely see the seams for where the pen fits together. I also really appreciate the customization options offered and the refill kit, which make it easy to swap in different pen refills. I look forward to using this pen every time I write and plan on ordering another one, maybe stainless steel or titanium, in the future.

Just unboxed the pen and immediately ran here to leave this review. This is my first ever product review, my first premium pen, and my first copper EDC product. I stumbled on this page while looking for a premium copper pen after getting a work promotion that required much more signing/writing. I looked at tons of copper bolt-action pens over the course of a week and this pen stood out to me for being a customizable pen, made in the USA, for a VERY reasonable price.
What you’re getting is a handcrafted and customizable pen with excellent machining, great action, invisible seams, and multiple pen refill options for half the price of what a product like this should go for. Made in the USA is a massive bonus and John is extremely helpful and friendly through Instagram if you need any help or have questions. Overall, you will not be disappointed with these pens and I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family. Cannot wait to get a beautiful patina on this pen!
